If you are looking for the best self-guided fishing in Alaska at the best rates, Coffman Cove Adventures is your destination. Our nearly 100% guest return rate speaks volumes to our fantastic fishing and affordability. The waters around Coffman Cove are home to an unbelievable number and variety of fish. Saltwater fishing for all five species of salmon is available as well as bottom fishing for halibut, rockfish, and cod. Because Coffman Cove is situated near some amazing reefs and structure, fishing is typically only 2-60 minutes out from the dock. Prince of Wales also boasts amazing river fishing for rainbow trout, cutthroat trout, Dolly Varden, as well as silver, sockeye, chum and pink salmon. If the weather is too rough for the ocean or you just prefer river fishing, Coffman Cove Adventures can point you in the right direction for some fantastic fishing and we offer a ‘River Only’ fishing adventure. 2 dozen rivers are located within 5-90 minutes from the cabins and each offers something different to anglers. Spinning gear is provided; fly fishers as well as spin fishers are welcome to bring their own gear if they choose. Each fishing group will have a private cabin with full access to the amenities of the dining cabin.

Coffman Cove Adventures offers three different trips to fit your fishing needs:

PREMIUM FISHING ADVENTURE - $1875 – features package listed below as well as our 20 foot enclosed Hewescraft Sportsman powered by a 90 HP Yamaha. Boat comes equipped will all safety gear, GPS/Sonar for finding hot spots, downriggers, and top of the line gear. This is one of the nicest rental boats available anywhere and all of our guests love the ‘Orange Crush’ for its range and comfort.

*NEW* SKIFF FISHING ADVENTURES - $1575 – includes package below and features a 16’ Harbercraft Skiff with 30HP Mercury. Boat has downriggers, fish finder, top of the line gear, as well as all safety equipment. Unlike many skiffs, our harbercraft has a splash well, pedestal seats, and solid floor. Many self-guided operations in SE utilize skiffs for fishing and our wide sea-worthy skiff fits the bill perfectly. Many visitors used the skiff with great results last year.

RIVER FISHING TRIPS - $1325 – includes package below minus the boat but includes a vehicle (fuel paid for by guest). This is a great trip for people looking for amazing river action with no ‘combat fishing’. STEELHEAD, rainbow and cutthroat trout and 4 species of salmon can be caught throughout the year.

Guided ocean or river fishing trips can be arranged with a local charter service at their standard rates.
