Deer hunting is a favorite activity of most Americans and we are no exception. For you first time Alaska deer hunters, one of the best things about hunting with Coffman Cove Adventures is having a hot shower, good meal and a warm place to relax after the days hunt. The North end of POW is known as THE deer hotspot and we are located in the heart of some of the best country on the island. Hunting is done in clear-cuts and along logging roads looking for deer on the move. Still hunting the deep timber is also a good method for hunting deer. These deer respond well to calls and can be called in during the rut from late October through November. A vehicle will be provided for hunting. Each group will have a private cabin with full access to the amenities of the dining cabin.
